OLYMPIA RALLY 2023 DAY 5

    Τhe fifth day of the Olympia Rally challenged riders to navigate the rugged terrain of Erymanthos Mountain, starting at Kladeos river and concluding at Lasdikas and Lalas. The competitors traversed several challenging locations, including Doukas, Milies, Foloi Forest, Koumani, and Klindia, before going up to Erymanthos mountain, at an altitude of 2.000 meters, touching the remaining snow! Downhill at Astras, and Labia, before the returning via the Foloi Forest to Kladeos River for the flying of the Special Stage…

    Riders faced a grueling test of endurance as they tackled the steep inclines and winding roads of the mountain. The breathtaking scenery of the top of Erymanthos provided a spectacular backdrop as the competitors pushed themselves to their limits.

    The first rider to finish the stage was #423 Maximillian SCHEK, clocking in with a time of 3:55’14”. #304 Mike WIEDEMANN was close behind, finishing in second place with a time of 3:58’52”. Yesterday’s leader #52 Ferdinand KREIDL finished in third place with a time of 4:12’09.

    Regarding Greek riders, #52 Christos PELOUSIS was the fastest with a time of 4:42’04”, finishing 5th of the day, while #62 Dimitris HELIOTIS finished with a time of 5:19’06”.
