It is located near the village of Kastria in Achaia, 16.5 km from Kalavryta. The first mapping was done by the above group, and then by E.S.E. (Hellenic Speleological Society) with speleologist Anna Petroheilou. Fossilized bones of man and various animals were found on the lower floor of the cave. This section is intended for a biospeleological laboratory of international prominence. Along the 2km route inside the cave, one encounters 13 consecutive lakes at different altitudes separated from each other by dams of stalactite material. The stalactite decoration is unparalleled.
