The Olympia Rally finished with the small racing day of 40 km around Ancient Olympia, to “travel” the participants with a panoramic stage of the Archaeological site, the Coubertin Monument, the Olympic Academy, and of course the Immortal Olympic Stadium. The participants finished among the crowd of visitors and tourists who were there, applauded and cheered!
The 40 kilometers in the form of an epilogue, was designed for very tight in navigation, with very low speeds and difficult orientation! The winner of the 6th day and the General classification, was the permanent protagonist of Dakar #4 Stefan Svitko.
Noteworthy was the presence of our own Greek rider #52 Anastasios Georgiou with KTM 690 who was 2nd in his category.
In terms of organization, we would like to warmly thank the Municipality of Ancient Olympia for the hospitality and co-organization, the Forest Service of Pyrgos, the Police Directorate of Krestena, our Medical staff and the rescuers who exaggerated themselves, the Hospital of Krestena, and all those who contributed to the completion of this difficult venture.
