From Krestena and Smerna the participants reached Karytaina, and from the old destroyed asphalt roads of Gortynia the participants went up to Ladon River, Lagadia and Tropaia. Then, the riders were accompanied by the river of Erymanthos during the stage, for their return to Lala and through the river Kladeos to the finish line.
